Young League Continues Strides Forward With This New Partnership

CARMICHAEL, CA: The Western Professional Hockey League announced today, a partnership to engage BeniZio Sports to serve as advisor to the league through the launch of the league’s first game in November of 2022 and beyond. “We are enjoying such rapid growth as we launch the WPHL and have reached a point where we need additional management support and experience to see our vision come to fruition”, explained Frank Santelli, co-founder of the WPHL. “What Tommy Benizio and his company BeniZio Sports brings to our league with experience in both team and league management, along with his passion is remarkable.”

BeniZio Sports is a Texas based firm that serves professional sports teams and leagues in their business operations. The three-year-old company was founded by long-time pro sports executive Tommy Benizio and has assisted teams and league offices in professional and junior hockey, Major League Rugby, minor league baseball, professional basketball and soccer, along with arena football. “It is a thrill to be engaged by Frank and Kyle in this very special league. The Western Professional Hockey League is a 6-8 team league focused on launching throughout the center of America from Texas through Montana beginning in late 2022.
